Museum Upper Silesian Ethnographic Park in Chorzów, is colloquially the Chorzów open-air museum with an area of 22 ha, located in the Silesian Park and with 70 historic wooden buildings from five subregions of Upper Silesia and the region Dąbrowski Basin.
In 1938, the XNUMXth-century wooden church from Syrynia and the XNUMXth-century granary from Gołkowice were moved to the Kościuszko Park in Katowice, which became the beginning of the Silesian open-air museum.
The Upper Silesian Ethnographic Park in Chorzów was opened on May 5, 1975.
